TOOLS & ARTIFACTS
Tools to Think Better, Not Less.
This lane houses the practical outputs of our work: protocols, frameworks, templates, and experimental tools intended to support reflective, responsible engagement with complex systems.
Some artifacts are public and stable. Others are in active development or limited release. We don't ship tools simply because they're novel—we ship them when they are useful, resilient, and aligned with the values that guide this work.
Protocols are coming.
When they do, they'll be documented clearly, versioned explicitly, and designed to support human agency rather than undermine it.

3 questions to pull signal from complexity
Systems Lens Pocket Card
StableWhat it is: A printable pocket card designed to operationalize systems thinking in real time. Fits in a wallet, sits on a desk, or lives in your notebook.
The Core Questions (Front)
1. What is the system I'm examining?
2. Compared to what?
3. And then what?
These three questions do 80% of the work. They force you to define scope, establish a baseline, and trace consequences.
The Depth Questions (Back)
Add these when the answers feel too "clean":
Boundary: What's in / out?
Reward: What behavior wins here?
Loop: What keeps reinforcing it?
Implicit: What's assumed, unsaid, or hidden—and why?
If your first answers feel obvious, you probably drew the boundary too tight or missed an incentive. These four prompts help you dig.
How to Use It
- Before a meeting: Run the three questions on whatever you're about to discuss
- When stuck: The depth questions often reveal what's actually blocking you
- For AI prompts: Ask your AI collaborator to answer these questions before giving recommendations
- For decisions: If you can't answer "And then what?" at least two levels deep, you're not ready to decide
